Dr Shannon Gaffaney, BVetMed PGCertSAOphthal MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology is able to offer an Ophthalmology Referral Service to other veterinary practices in the area. The practice has a range of specialist diagnostic equipment including ophthalmoscopes, slit-lamps and tonometers. Here are some of the referrals we can accept:

- Corneal ulceration – superficial to deep & melting

Dr Shannon Gaffaney is not an Ophthalmology Specialist, but as an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology, she has advanced training and qualifications in this field. Where an individual requires investigations or surgery beyond her ability, she will advise and refer to an appropriate veterinary specialist.
