Lila, The 9 year old Staffie – What’s your diagnosis?

Presented with a history of coughing and peripheral lymphadenopathy.

CT showed diffuse marked sternal and cranial mediastinal lymphadenopathy (red stars, Fig 1).

CT also showed marked tracheobronchial lymphadenopathy – see Fig 2 showing the left and right tracheobronchial lymph nodes at the base of the heart on either side of the trachea (red stars)

There is also mild enlargement of the hepatic lymph node

Histopathology showed large B cell lymphoma. A CHOP protocol was recommended but the owners elected not to proceed.
